Guild Wars is a game developed by ArenaNet, a company established by core members of the team that developed the massively popular Battle.net, one of the worlds most popular game networks where Starcraft, Diablo and Warcraft are played online. After launching Guild Wars: Prophecies on Apr. 26, 2005 and Guild Wars: Factions on Apr. 28, 2006, the third chapter, Guild Wars Nightfall, was launched in Oct. 27, 2006.
