R.
I've been using this setup since 2009, the year I purchased my first (Milwaukee) heat gun. Prior to that, I used the heat gun with an old bread machine, set to the dough program. It burned out shortly after I started using it as a holding-pot/stirrer for coffee roasting.
I'm quite happy with my purchases.
The gun is still going strong, after 4 years of roasting, at about 2-week intervals. Last month, I bought another Milwaukee heat gun (along with the accessory kit), to have as a spare, just in case this one burns out during painting of my house and garage.
