Product Description

With the Uno Attack Game, Mattel has added motorized action and surprise to the classic Uno card game. Just as your family is in the midst of playing a nice game of cards, someone gets the command to push the Uno Attack button. If you're lucky, nothing happens. Otherwise you'll be surprised by fast-paced, card-flying action. Includes motorized card launcher, UNO cards, command cards and instructions. For 2 to 10 players, ages 7 to adult. Imported.

You'll still encounter all the elements that make UNO so unpredictable and challenging, but add to that a motorized card launcher that shows no mercy and you've got UNO Attack. The object of the game is still to get rid of all your cards. The UNO command cards direct the game by telling players when to trade hands, discard, reverse the playing order, or skip a player. Beware the dreaded Hit command, though, as this translates into a game of Russian roulette. You never know when the card launcher is going to fire off a stream of UNO cards just for you! For 2 to 10 players. Requires three C batteries (not included). --Alison Golder

Easy setup gets your card launcher ready for an upredictable UNO attack.

Fast Delivery!! This game is so fun with the extra sounds

I have four kids ages 8, 10, 14 and 17. It can be hard to find a game that all of my kids love. We own a TON of games and there are very few my kids ask to play.

I think that this game is probably my kids' favorite game. I think all four of them would agree with that. This game is very simliar to the traditional Uno, but the "attack" part is what my kids love. Instead of just drawing two, drawing four, etc..., you hit the button on the attack machine and pray that nothing comes out. You never know when it's going to throw cards at you. This game also offers a few new cards to the deck that I think really add some fun to the game. There is a Swap Hands card and if you play that card you can swap hands with anyone else in the game. This always has us laughing as the person whose cards are being taken suddenly is begging the other person not to take their cards because they are usually the person with the lowest number of card.

Like regular Uno, this game can easily be played by children, teens or adults. My kids have been playing Uno since they were 5 or 6 and my 8 year old has no trouble playing this game. Over Christmas this year, my parents had bought this as well and we sat with a huge group playing. The kids thought it was hilarious when their grandparents would get "attacked". We really love this game!

Not sure where this Uno game came from but the box was a little beat up and there were no instructions in English included. Hmm...

I bought this for my mother in law (who loves to play the original Uno with the grandkids) for Christmas. We opened it and the button that shoots cards at you (and the accompanying ding) was an instant hit with the 3 and 4 year olds, sans any actual gameplay. We had to disect the instructions because there are quite a few new cards and rules, and the cards look a little different, so you really have to pay attention at first. We found it's better to just start playing and check out the cards as you go. The kids had alot of fun. Once they went to bed, all the adults took it back out and we had a grand time playing our own round.

I had only a few tinsy criticisms - if you have loud kids around, you really need to listen for the ding, it can get hard to hear -( which is kinda fun to argue about and make your opponent hit the button again.) Also, the yellow cards aren't outlined very well, so it's hard to tell which number has been played for those with less than perfect eyesight. The deck holder/shooter has a place to put the cards on top, but we found it difficult to play on, so we just tossed the cards on the table as usual. Also, batteries weren't included, so if you're giving a gift, make sure you include them.

Overall, a great game to teach colors and numbers to the little ones and something for the adults to have fun with as well. A great twist on an old favorite.

Friends introduced us to Uno Attack. Now we are addicted and had to buy our own game. We play it every 2 to 3 weeks. Recently we taught it to our 7 year old granddaughter. She had so much fun playing it that we are giving her the game for her 8th birthday. With her, we started teaching her with just a few of the special cards; by the end of the week, we were using the entire deck. We copied the pictures and descriptions of the special cards so that we could use them as references when playing with several new players. The launcher is durable and cards are made of good quality card stock. We take it whenever we are going to be with a few friends because Uno Attack is fun, and we laugh and laugh. Not keeping score really adds to the enjoyment.

As nobody else says - yes, it includes the UNO cards (2 packs). These packs include some special cards our classic UNO cards dont - you could still mix old and new cards though.
Dont forget you will need 3xC batteries.
The plastic card dispenser lacks rubber/felt feet and could therefore easily scratch a wooden table top - if your wooden dining table is decent - consider yourself warned (we have stick on felt feet bought in packs from Ikea for just such toys).
A fun update on a classic family game for all ages. Worth the extra if you have kids as it adds the sort of excitement they expect from games today.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great fun for family holidays
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on April 4, 2012
This is a great game for children of approx 7 years upwards and adults. It's nice that players of different ages and abilities can all play together. It does take a bit of time to get to know what the different cards mean but the automatic card dispenser introduces more of an element of surprise and chance so it is not purely about skill/ability. Our 7 year old boy loves it and fully participates in the game, our 3 year old can't play it but can still push the button for the card dispenser so even he can get a little involved in the game. It can get really exciting and Grandma and Grandad enjoyed it too. I would say it really needs a minimum of 3 players to get the best out of the game. A fantastic game for family holidays - highly recommended.

Initially the instructions for this game seem complicated but they are easily learned after a few rounds. It is a fun card game suitable for all the family, and the more taking part in the game the more fun it is. Once a child can read a number they can fully participate. There is a certain amount of skill involved and a bit of strategy. But there is loads of fun and that is the main component. So switch of the TV and have a game of Uno - you will soon become an addict.
