    A Colorful, Silly, Creative Game
    Cranium Classic has long been known for its goofy, unpredictable activities, challenging even the most well-rounded players to step up their game. This latest version includes 600 updated playing cards--making the adventures all-new again--and the bonus Family Pack is a shoe-in for family-only game nights.

    Though the game features new playing cards, gameplay is still the same--roll the 10-sided, colorful die, pick the matching colored card, and complete the activity listed to advance to the next Planet Cranium. Once you get to Cranium Central, successfully complete the final task and lead your team to victory! The bright, fun colors and cartoonish characters only add to the overall silliness and goofiness of the game, encouraging those playing to let their guard down and have a good time.

    Build It, Sing It, Perform It, Draw It
    Cranium is great for large groups or events--whether it's a party, a reunion, or just even a family game night. The game constantly challenges players in trivia and creativity, creating a fun and spontaneous atmosphere.

    However, keep in mind this particular version of Cranium is designed for ages 16 and up, so if you have younger children, you may want to play one of the other versions. There is also a warning listed about the clay containing wheat--just a thoughtful heads-up for anyone with wheat allergies.

      We bought this game around Christmas time...my wife had always wanted to buy it but I was hesitant, but we saw a good price so I decided why not even though I knew nothing about the game. It's actually a fun trivia based turn-game that turned into hours of fun. (It's also an excellent drinking game which we play with the guys vs the girls format...)

      -Excellent game for adults
      -Kids will enjoy this too, although some questions may be over their head

      CON's:
      -If you play this a lot, you may start duplicating cards. I'm not sure if you can buy more cards on it's own, but the questions are varied enough that this shouldn't be an issue

      Definitely a worthy investment for your bookshelf for when company is over.

      I ordered the game before the seller had posted images of it in the cardboard packaging, and assumed it would come in the attractive and durable tin that's still visible on the product page. What arrived was an ordinary cardboard package, which was scuffed at the corners because the original shrink wrap had been removed. As I write this, Amazon currently sells a newer edition of the same game directly for just $19.99 -- and I suspect it will arrive in better condition.

      Seller: please contact me once you've removed the image depicting a tin, and I'll revoke that part of my review and increase my rating of the product. Thanks!

The fun facts and word puzzles are way too easy for us. If you have some younger kids, this game might be enjoyable, but we don't have fun when there isn't some sort of challenge.
